Young fans of the Pout-Pout Fish books will want to join us for this party celebrating the latest Pout-Pout adventure, The Pout-Pout Fish Cleans Up the Ocean. Illustrator Dan Hanna will be on hand to sign copies of his work and show kids how he draws Pout-Pout Fish, and we'll learn things that we humans can do here on land to help the world's oceans. We'll serve up an afternoon snack (Goldfish crackers, and cake!) and offer some fun Pout-Pout Fish giveaways. This free event is recommended for ages 4 and up. Registration is requested. Please save your child's spot by calling us at 847-446-8880, or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
In The Pout-Pout Fish Cleans Up the Ocean, a new addition to the New York Times-bestselling series, Mr. Fish and an increasing number of sea creatures investigate a huge mess in the ocean, then decide how to deal with it. The book includes tips for the reader to help clean up and protect the ocean.
Illustrator Dan Hanna has over ten years of experience in the animation industry, and his work has appeared on BBC America and the Cartoon Network. He lives in Camarillo, California. Hanna's Pout-Pout books with author Deborah Diesen include Sweet Dreams Pout-Pout Fish; Kiss, Kiss, Pout-Pout Fish; The Not Very Merry Pout-Pout Fish; and The Pout-Pout Fish Goes to School.
Mr. Fish and his friends have noticed something strange in their ocean—a big, big MESS! How did it get there? What can they do about it? The closer they look, the more they see where the mess came from . . . and they'll have to work together to get rid of it.
