Roots & Rock Music-Making with the Music Institute of Chicago

We are delighted to welcome friends from the Music Institute of Chicago (MIC) Roots & Rock program for an informal evening of Americana tunes. Students and  MIC faculty members Megon McDonough, Dave Onderdonk and Scott Boyer will lead the live music making.

The Roots & Rock program at the Music Institute of Chicago offers beginning and intermediate level classes for guitarists and songwriters, emphasizing American roots music genres of rock and roll, folk, jazz and blues. All are welcome to attend this free, family-friendly program. Please bring a guitar or ukulele if you want to join in!
